Incorporated in 2006, Alternative Costs (a trading style of The Alternative Company (UK) Ltd) sought to provide a bespoke costs consultancy and negotiation service aimed at the small to medium sized firm who required a swift, reliable and professional service.

As soon as your file is collected by our couriers you can rest assured that recovery of your hard earned costs will remain a priority until settlement is achieved. All files are dealt with under the terms of our agreed minimum service levels scheme to ensure that they are progressed consistently and settled with the minimum of fuss. You can choose to be involved in the process as much or as little as you want to be.

At Alternative Costs we pride ourselves on excellent recovery rates for base profit costs and success fees, coupled with realistic advice on P36 and P47 offers. We offer a comprehensive variety of services designed to deal with all cases from schedule to conclusion whether that be amicable settlement through negotiation or detailed assessment of a formal bill.

Moving forward we have kept a keen eye on the numerous possibilities for improvement over a traditional costs drafting service by utilising IT solutions, management software and the internet to enhance our customer service.

We have recently implemented a brand new costs management system designed to speed up the process of negotiation, client reporting and bill drafting to offer a service level far in excess of some much larger companies.

The new system has been written from scratch to our exact requirements to enable us to provide all of our customers with a speed and quality of service that we believe will be unavailable to them elsewhere.
